Rose Viggiani

Peacefully at home surrounded by family on Tuesday, June 29, 2004, in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Domenico Viggiani (1957). Loving mother to Anthony and his wife Annie and Alba and her husband Dr. Jerry Graner. Cherished Nonna Rosa and Nanny to Carly Rose and the late Tony (Janine) Viggiani and Great Nonna Rosa to Daniella and Taima. Survived by her devoted sister May Caruso and sister-in-law Emily Caruso and predeceased by her sister Connie and brother Frank. Our family extends a heartfelt thank you to Rose's caregivers Fely, Margie, Lurline and cousin Carm, and her longtime family doctor Dr. Irwin Keltz. Rose will be missed dearly by her many nieces, nephews, friends and their families. Friends may call on Thursday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 2, 2004 at St. Gabriel's Roman Catholic Church (650 Sheppard Ave. East) at 10 o'clock. Interment to follow at Mount Hope Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
