To Nonna,

You were my wonderful grandmother, a godmother, a wonderful person and a friend. I love you and will be always grateful to your acts of kindness and warm smiles. I remember how much you enjoyed your walks and going out to celebrate family occasions. I will miss you very much, but I know you will be in a better place with Nonno. I wish I had more time to spend with you and I wish you were here. Today we celebrate the end of a life of a wonderful person and the beginning of a new journey. I will always keep you and Nonno in my heart throughout my journey in life.

Love Stefano

For Nonna, from Alexa

I wanted to take this chance to write these few lines in honour of my grandmother. Nonna was not only my grandmother, she was my friend.

I am sad that she had to leave but I believe when you love someone and when you keep them in your hearts, they will live forever in our memoires. I will always remember that she was a kind, a happy and a cheerful person. I felt safe with her and I loved spending time with her.

I know that Nonna is keeping us safe while she is up in heaven. I know this because she is the most generous at heart. I will never forget how much love she had given.

Nonna, may your kindness and generosity return to you perpetually in heaven. You are such a wonderful blessing to many people, including me. Thank you and I love you forever.
