Passed away suddenly on December 8, 2014, at age 47. Predeceased by his parents, Michael and Margaret Zakka. Cherished father to Ryan and Rory. Loving boyfriend of Diana Dowhaluk. Beloved brother to Alan and Brenda (Darin). Fondly remembered by his nephews, Michael and Matthew, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Although he left us far too early, Roy leaves an indelible mark on the financial industry and in the hearts of those who loved him. Family and friends may call on December 11, 2014 from 1-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street (at Goulding, south of Steeles). A funeral mass will be held on December 12, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church, 24 Cheritan Avenue, Toronto. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Gilda's Club of Greater Toronto or a charity of your choice, would be appreciated by the family.
