Passed away peacefully on January 12, 2011 at Carefree Lodge, after celebrating her 88th birthday on January 2nd. Predeceased by her beloved husband Frank Herbert Bell. Loving mother of Victoria, Brian, and Sharon. Proud grandmother of Alexandra. Dear sister of the late Bill Steele, Lila Sapsford, and Victor Steele. Ruby's love for her family and friends was always an important part of her life. Visitation on Friday, January 21, 2011 from 4-8 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 22 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel. Interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Salvation Army.
