He wasn't a pleasant man to be with . I didn't know what he was like when he was young.  Maybe I am wrong to say he was nasty. Just the same: Russ, Rest In Peace.

Family - many years ago, I worked with Russ, at my first job ever. The admin assistant in the Loblaw packaging department. It was a formative entry and the beginning of my career. I reminisce on that time often, and have fond memories of my time with Russ. He was patient, creative, particular and quiet but sometimes brusque and firm. I didn't realize how young I was, at 21, and what guidance I needed, but Russ gave it in the right doses at the right time. When I left the organization, he gifted me a bottle of wine (which I still have) and a beautiful collection of hats, that I kept, displayed and wore, for years. I loved them so much. My deepest condolences to all of you. I will keep him in my memories. He was a good egg.

Soft spoken and very generous ,always a big smile and ready and willing to offer a helping  hand,this is the way I new him and wish to keep these qualities of Russ in my thoughts.

They came to one of our boys football games in 2008 in Alabama and they came to one of our boys weddings in Alabama in 2014, he loved his cousin, Joys dog, Bella, while visiting in South Carolina…he and Yvonne were always fun to have visit! I will never forget Christmas Eve dinners, visits to the cottage, you giving me my first car, or my most favorite memory of all: Tony and I sitting with you and Aunty Yvonne in your livingroom sharing stories  about your life and career. Followed by a delicious pad thai dinner at a favorite place! Your art hangs on our walls, and I will always think of you whenever I  see PC fudge crackle ice cream! We're so happy you're now home with family and especially Aunty Yvonne. We know you missed her so much.

Russell,you and Bonnie always said  you felt a part of our family and you were! On the weekends,Christmas,Easter,Thanksgiving dinners,Family Celebrations..you were always there.We will remember fondly all the memories we made,stories , music you shared and all the cheese and wine we consumed!There is going to be a great void in our family.

I’m so glad that we got to see you in January and I hoped that there would be more to time visit with you again.  You were very tired and had little energy but you knew it was Ken and I. I’m grateful for that. We will miss your visits up at our trailer you, were always fond of coming up to visit, share dinner, fine wine and many stories! 
You have been lonely for Bonnie and now you are reunited with your lovely wife! God speed!

My condolences to Russ's extended family.
Russ was my first boss out of college; we worked together for ten years. Russ afforded me many opportunities, he opened up my world to great food and my first international travel was a work trip with him to Belgium.
I will always remember his generosity and warm spirit.

I enjoyed working with Russ in the design department at Loblaw Brands. He was a very creative art director, an excellent leader and a pioneer in package design and printing. 
As mentor, I learned so much from Russ, which helped in my career success. He was a true connoisseur of fine food and wines which he was happy to share.
I cherish my wonderful memories of working with Russ. May God bless him and all who mourn his passing.

I am Russell's cousin from Sask., we did not see each other but we had many visits on the phone, I miss those chats which included every thing from weather, family to politics. Rest in peace Russ!

We will miss him terribly and love him with my heart.

I will remember Russell as a quiet and kind man - a smart dresser who loved his ties!

I worked with Russ for a number of years at Loblaws Head Office. I remember him as a kind, knowledgeable and creative person who served as a mentor to many of us.
