From her childhood in the new Toronto suburb of The Kingsway, wonderful years at Etobicoke High School and Victoria College University of Toronto, summers on Lake Temagami, and many happy years in Thornhill, Shirley loved her life. She enjoyed good books, music, gardens, and most of all her family and many friends. Survived by her children, Sue (Craig), Dan (Vicki), Sally (Kevin), and her grandchildren Molly, Abby, Zoë, Morgan, Caitlin and Gavin. Predeceased by her husband Don LePage, her parents Fred and Winnifred Hotrum, and her sister "Albert" Catherine Mix. Dear friend to so many including John Bonnick, the 'Pot Luck Gang', colleagues at Thornhill Library, Almond Ave and John St neighbours, and all the LePage and Mix clans. Special thanks to Dr Janet Morse for her wonderful care and skill, and the kindness of many from CCAC. Donations to Hill House Hospice in Richmond Hill where Shirley spent her final days would be most appreciated. There will be a celebration of Shirley's life on Sunday, July 5 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at The Thornhill Country Club, 7994 Yonge St.
