Passed away peacefully with her family by her side in Toronto, at the age of 72. Shirley, beloved wife of the late Lawrence Arthur Glenroy Oxley (2001). Survived by her dear mother Mary (Dee) Thornhill. Loving mother of triplets Faye, Anthony and Andre. Cherished and adored Nana of Jerrell and Je'von. Dear sister of David, Betty, Beverly and Junior. Shirley will be greatly missed by all of her family, the Oxley family and many friends. She was a longtime member of St. George on Yonge Anglican Church. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street (at Goulding, south of Steeles). Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 19th at 11 a.m. at St. George on Yonge Anglican Church, 5350 Yonge Street (south of Finch, west side). Interment will take place in Barbados. If desired, donations to St. George on Yonge Anglican Church would be appreciated.
