

died peacefully on October 10, 2013.
She was in the 72nd year of her religious life.
She is predeceased by her parents, Frederick Graham and Mary Moran
and by her brother William.
She will be dearly missed by her sisters Marion and Frances
and her brother Edmund, and her nieces and nephews, as well as her friends and sisters in community.
Sister Leona entered the Sisters of St. Joseph in 1942.
She taught school for twenty-four years in Toronto, Oshawa, St. Catharines and Thorold, serving the last five of those years in Guidance.
She then spent four years serving in ministry to women at Street Haven.
In 1976, she moved into ministry at St. Michael's Halfway House.
In 1990, she continued this ministry and moved into
one of the Matt Talbot houses, where she lived for thirteen years
with other sisters who formed community there.
In the past ten years, she served as coordinator, then as resource person,
in a CSJ Associates group and in a variety of pastoral ministries.
Sister Leona moved from the sisters' residence at Mutual Street to their residence at 2 O'Connor in March of this year.
Sister Leona was comfortable with herself
and always made others feel comfortable.
Her wake will be held at the Sisters of St. Joseph's residence at
2 O'Connor Drive, Toronto
on Monday, October 14 from 3:30 p.m.
with a prayer vigil at 7:00 p.m.
Mass of Christian burial will take place at 2 O'Connor Drive
on Tuesday, October 15 at 10:30 a.m.
Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
