Sr. Margaret Reid, OSsR

Sister Margaret Louise Reid O.Ss.R. of the Redemptoristine Nuns of Canada completed her earthly journey for eternity at St. Bernard’s Residence, Toronto on Wednesday September 14th, 2016. Sister Margaret was born in Deloro, Ontario on March 8th, 1921. Mourning the passing of Sister Margaret Reid are the Sisters formally of the Fort Erie, Ontario Monastery and the entire Redemptoristine Order. Sr. Margaret is survived by nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her parents Mary Gelen and Thomas Reid and siblings Tom Reid, Anne Fitzgerald and Mary Vodden.

Sister Margaret Reid, O.Ss.R. was a professed member of the Order of the Most Holy Redeemer for over 60 years. She made her first profession in 1954 and celebrated her Diamond Jubilee in August of 2014.

Friends may call at St. Bernard’s Convent located at 685 Finch Avenue West Toronto, ON, on Saturday September 17th, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Fr. Santo Arrigo C.Ss.R. at 11:00 a.m. The Interment will follow at 3:30 p.m. at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Snyder ON. Arrangements are entrusted to R.S. Kane Funeral Home in Toronto, ON.
