Passed away peacefully on the morning of Sunday December 31st, 2006, in his 81st year. His family remembers fondly his humour and devotion to them. Stan was the beloved friend and husband of Jean and much loved father of David (Gayle), Sue (Dennis), Bruce (Michelle) and Dianne (Eddie). He was the adored Grandad to Joey, Jamie, Luke, Holly, Brian, Jessie, Jake, Zach and Ryan. He is survived by his brother William. Stan was a long-time volunteer coach at the Lakeshore Swim Club and a long-time employee of Black and MacDonald. The family would like to extend their thanks to the staff of the North York Seniors Health Centre for their thoughtful and considerate care. Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the R. S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Service will be held in the chapel on Friday January 5th at 11:00 a. m. Interment York Cemetery (160 Beecroft Road). Donations in lieu of flowers, may be made to the North York Seniors Health Centre or to a charity of your choice.
