Peacefully passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2013 at Amica Retirement Residence in Thornhill, at the age of 95. Stella, beloved wife of the late Albert Corbett. Loving Mom of Helen Major (husband George) and Walter Corbett (wife Roseanne). Grandmother of Sarah, Graham and Rachel. Survived by her sister Nora Noseworthy. Stella will be greatly missed by all of her family and by her friends at Amica and St. Paschal Baylon. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 9th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 10th at 9:30 a.m. at St. Paschal Baylon Roman Catholic Church (92 Steeles Avenue West, Thornhill). Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
