Stephen passed peacefully with family by his side, after a long battle with cancer on December 11, 2023 at the McGill University Health Centre. He is greatly missed by his son Keir Menzies (Annie Létourneau), all his relatives, along with close friends and co-workers, many of whom he considered family. He was the loving son of the late Kenneth R. Menzies and G. June Menzies and affectionate brother of the late Janice E. Menzies.
Stephen was a loving father who was devoted to family and friends. Building and maintaining relationships was profoundly important to him. He will be remembered for his fierce, original intelligence and being kind-hearted, energetic and passionate about everything he committed to in life.
A private service will be held by the family at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to consider a donation in Stephen’s memory to the Hospital for Sick Children Foundation.
