Former special education teacher with the Toronto Board of Education. After a courageous battle at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre on Wednesday, May 23, 2012. Survived by her devoted husband Derek (Deke) of 44 years. Loving mother to Kim (Ron Evans), and Drew (Kathy Simmons) and mother-in-law to Kathleen McBrien. She will be greatly missed by her good friend and companion Sherry Mohammed. Mrs. Sue will also be missed by her pals James and Joshua Wall. Daughter of the Rev. Dr. DeCourcy and Marie Rayner (both deceased) and sister Sally Schiller and Diana Tordjman as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A service will be held at Armour Heights Presbyterian Church (105 Wilson Avenue) on Friday, May 25 , 2012 at 1 p.m. with visitation starting an hour prior. Cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to Sunnybrook Critical Care Unit or Baycrest Hospital would be appreciated.
