Passed away peacefully at home on September 23rd, 2016. Loving husband to Maureen, caring dad to Lynda Gondek (Jim), Marrianne Hofland (Rick) and Scott McMaster (Kate). Proud grandpa, great-grandpa, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend. When not spending time with the family he was playing, coaching and watching hockey and baseball. He played his last hockey game at the age of 77. Special thanks to Dr. Natalia, Joy, Sharon, Jasmine and Lou. Visitation will be held at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge St. (at Goulding, south of Steeles) on Tuesday, September 27, from 2-4 and 6-8. Service in the Chapel on Wednesday, September 28th at 11am, with visitation 1 hour prior. Interment Highland Memory Gardens.
