It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tom on March 18, 2014, while on vacation in Cocoa Beach, Florida with his beloved wife Mary of 53 years. He was in his 79th year. A graduate of the University of Toronto, Tom worked 33 years within the Ontario Public Service and enjoyed the following 13 years at the Avis Budget Group. In addition to being survived by Mary (O'Neil), he will be greatly missed by his three sons and their wives - Arthur & Jane, Darrell & Cecilia, Robert & Arlene, and his seven grandchildren- Gordon, Scott, Erin, Spencer, Riah, Tanis and Maren. His kind nature will be warmly remembered by friends and relatives. We are grateful that Tom passed living life to its fullest with the love of his life, Mary. Friends and family are invited to call at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street on Friday April 25th from 7 to 9 PM or Saturday April 26th from 9:30 to 11:30 AM. A Memorial Service will immediately follow the Saturday visitation at 11:30 AM at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home.
