It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tien Ngoc Tran on June 29, 2025 at the age of 74. He immigrated to Ottawa, Canada in 1979 from Saigon, Vietnam. He was a loving husband to Tuyet Vo, devoted father to Tracy, Michael, and Tina, caring father-in-law to Kevin, Carrie, and Jonathan, and proud grandfather to Brandon, Tyler, Ellie, Owen, Ryder, and Piper. He took on various jobs to provide for his family while Tuyet went back to school. He then was able to go back to school himself and obtain his PhD at the University of Ottawa. Tien loved playing classical guitar, gardening, and home renovation. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. A funeral visitation will be held at St. John's Dixie Visitation Centre (737 Dundas St. E. Mississauga ON L4Y 2B5) on July 10, 2025 from 10:00 to 13:00.
