

LEON, Timothy Todd - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Timothy Leon of Thornhill, Ontario who was born on February 25, 1958 in Welland, Ontario. Timothy died after a courageous battle with cancer on November 11, 2013 at Mackenzie Health. A tremendous thank you to the doctors and nursing staff in ICU at Mackenzie Health Center. They were tremendous.
Beloved son of the late Edward M. and Alice Leon. Timothy will be truly missed by their loving brothers and sisters and their families: Charlene (Robert and Andrew), Alice Elizabeth, Diane (Anthony), Michael (Lea, Amber, Justin and Christian), Edward (Lucy, Matthew, Alexander and Adriana), Shawn (Eileen, Emma and Ethan), Leah (Theodore and Sabrina), Darlene (Dave, Dave Jr., William and Kristen), Carolyn (Jordan and Nicholas), Daniel (Catarina, Alysha, Nicole, Bianca, Nathan and Christopher) Darren (Ashley and Kyle) and the late Jerome.Timothy's loving aunts and uncles: Roger (deceased), Mary Tonnos (deceased), Vera Leon (deceased), Sadie and George Michael (deceased), Lewie (deceased) and Margaret Leon,George (deceased) and Marie Leon, Marjorie Leon (deceased), Dr. Joe and Laurice Leon, Mary and Eugene Dileo (deceased), Catherine and her late husband George Repar, Rosanne (deceased) and Eddy Egnatios, James and Rose Obireck (deceased), Julius (deceased) and Janey Obireck, Walter and Molly Obireck (deceased), Bernice and Adam Sczelecki (deceased), Jane and Don Rose, Betty and Fred Leon (deceased).
Tim showed tremendous determination and fortitude living with his affliction daily, of which we are very proud. Friends may visit at the Jerrett Funeral Home - Vaughan Chapel, 8088 Yonge Street (south of Hwy. 7) on Thursday, November 14, 2013 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Luke's Catholic Church, 39 Green Lane (Bayview and John). Interment to be held at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery. Donations to the Schizophrenia Society of Ontario, 130 Spadina Avenue, Suite 302, Toronto, Ontario, M5V 2L4 would be appreciated by the family as your expression of sympathy.
