It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Viola Ernestine Tjon-a-on on Monday, December 8th, 2008 at the age of 84 years. She will be forever missed by her devoted husband Harvey, and her loving daughters Jacquie (Robert - predeceased) and Derrice (Louis). Cherished Grandma to Kevin, Bryan, Nicholas and Melissa. Predeceased by her brothers Carl and Hamel and by her sister Clarine. Survived by her sisters Lyra, Lauretta, Cynthia and Vivienne. Visitation on Friday, December 12th from 6 to 9 p.m. at R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street (south of Steeles Ave.). Funeral Service on Saturday, December 13th at 9:00 a.m. at R.S. Kane Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Thornhill. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to The Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
