Wendy Campbell

Peacefully after a happy and fulfilling life on Sunday, September 14, 2003 at the age of 48 years. Wendy will be lovingly remembered for her caring spirit to family, friends and the community. She cherished her years as Director of Newpark Children's Centre, involvement in the child care community, and her volunteer time at Wellspring (providing emotional support to cancer patients and their families). She will be greatly missed by her partner and best friend of over 27 years, Brian and by her daughter Erin. Survived by her Dad Len (Marjorie), brothers Rick (Margaret), Michael (Dawne) and Don (Kathy), sisters Janet, and Karen (Colin), her nieces and nephews, and in-laws Betty (Joe), Jill (Rick) and Mike (Marie). The family is grateful to all of those who touched Wendy's life. Visitation will be held at R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles) on Wednesday from 5-9 pm. A Celebration of Wendy's Life will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2003 at 1 pm at Blessed Sacrament Church (24 Cheritan Ave.). If wished, donations may be made to Wellspring or a charity of your choice.
