BERRY, (William) Bruce - We announce the passing of (William) Bruce Berry in his 94th year on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at York Central Hospital. 70 years ago Bruce married the love of his life Marion Fox of Milton who resides at York Central Hospital - Long Term Care. Bruce lived an active life in his church and community, 53 years at Lake of Bays and Norway Point Church. His hobbies were duplicate bridge, ballroom dancing, carpentry and he curled up until his 90th birthday at the Thornhill Country Club. Bruce was a graduate of Oakville High School and the University of Toronto and was employed with the North York Board of Education for 35 years. A private family burial will be held this week. A Celebration of Bruce's Life will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Thornhill Presbyterian Church, 271 Centre Street, where Marion and Bruce were active members for 38 years. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Bruce Berry Dementia Fund, 10 Trench Street, Richmond Hill, Ontario, L4C 4Z3 would be appreciated as your expression of sympathy.
