Peacefully passed away on Saturday, November 17, 2007 at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre K-Wing. Beloved husband of Margaret Ruth for 61 wonderful years. Loving father of Craig and his wife Tara. Grandfather of Samantha and Rebecca. Survived by his brother Joe and his sisters Gwen Rushlow and Doris Kinger. Predeceased by his sisters Margaret Vernon and Norma McCoy. William was a retired Superintendent of Canada Customs and A.Q.M.S.. He served overseas as a member of the Canadian Intelligence, also R.R. of C., 48th Highlanders, and A.F. & A.M. #565. Friends may call on Tuesday, November 20, 2007 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel.
