Peacefully at Carefree Lodge on March 10, 2016 after a lengthy illness. Beloved husband of Myrna (nee Farnsworth). Loving father of Heather Pattenden (Barry) and Andy (Andreia Farkas). Cherished grandfather of Gabriel. Predeceased by sisters Phyllis Fairburn and Dorothy Frost. Lovingly remembered by nieces Margo Fairburn and Hilary McPherson and their families, and by his many friends. Visitation will be held at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge St. (at Goulding, south of Steeles) on Friday, March 18, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A Celebration of Life will be held at Spring Garden Baptist Church, 112 Spring Garden Ave., on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 2pm with visitation one hour prior.
