Dear Linda and family,

I have so many memories of Bill and the O’Brien family growing up. Their home was my second home growing up and I have been reminiscing this week on all the great ones.
Bill made the best eggs and toast, would always say hi dear when I either called or walked in the room, he would be at the kitchen table with his house coat on, reading the newspaper with his coffee, I remember us kids hanging around his clothing store and then florist shop, I fondly remember Linda and Bill having a beautiful dinner together in the family room after we were all fed and off to play.
Many great memories shared for sure and appreciate them all.

Growing up, Bill and Linda were dubbed as my "second parents". I have so many memories of cottaging, trips to mcdonald's, hanging out in the florist shop, cruising around in the cadillac, friday night steak and ceasar salad dinners, halloween parties, watching my mom and Bill dominate as euchre partners and always being greeted by a "hello dear!" My heart goes out to Linda and his girls as he will be missed so much. Wish I could be there in person to give you all hugs xo

Dear Linda and Family - Terry and I would like to send our thoughts and prayers to you all. As "new" neighbours we did not know Bill very long but it was always a pleasure sharing hellos and messages across the fence. Thanks to Bill for telling Terry he did " a great job' painting the deck!
Please take care of one another and remember Linda we are just a "fence" away if you need us, Terry and Gaynor

We will always remember and cherish the fun times we shared together as families. Temagami, Stoney Lake, Collingwood and of course Thornhill. It's a wonder we didn't become professional Euchre players.
Wishing we could all be together in person to celebrate Bill's life and share in both the sadness and the many humorous moments over our long friendship.
We love you.
Kathy and Dave

I always sensed that Bill and I shared a unique connection; Bill, the only guy in a family with 5 women and I, the only female in a family with 5 men. Bill got his boy dog and I got my girl dog. Then the grandchildren came along. Bill was blessed with 4 more lovely girls. He jokingly told his sons-in- law that he would give up his prized antique car for a grandson and his loving family gave him three. He will be missed by all.

Dear Linda & family,
Deena and I are very sorry to hear of Bill's passing. We bought your house almost eight ago and on walks we still to this day have neighbours ask about Bill and how he is. He sounds like a wonderful man and he will be very missed.
