William Ronald Thomason

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at Mackenzie Health Centre in Richmond Hill, Ontario on Thursday, December 10, 2015, at the age of 76. He was a loving husband to Norine Thomason (Parsons) for over 52 years. Together they raised two children, Kevin Thomason of Waterloo and Cheryl Davidson (Thomason) of Tottenham while meeting the daily challenges of living with Multiple Sclerosis.

Brother to Joan Costas, Marilyn Leibel and Carol McAdam, father-in-law to Dan Davidson and Stephanie Thomason (Bruin) as well as the proud grandfather of Tyler and Carter Davidson. Bill will be fondly remembered for his determination and optimistic approach to life, never complaining despite the many health challenges he faced for over 46 years.

Our family has lost a very special member whose strength and persistence has been such an inspiration to all of us.

We would like to thank the many caregivers, family, and friends for their love and support over all the years.

Visitation will be at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, south of Steeles) on Monday, December 14, 2015 from 1 pm to 3 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm. A Funeral Service at Thornhill Presbyterian Church (271 Centre Street) will be held on Tuesday, December 15 at 11 am. Reception to follow. Interment to follow at Prospect Cemetery, Toronto.
