Florence Isabelle Cordova was born December 21, 1927 in Trinidad, Colorado. Her parents were the late Antonia (Veltri) Torres and Jose Torres. She was the eldest of the four Torres children: Celia, Orville, Chris and Jerry. Florence loved to dance and cook delicious meals for friends and family. She was married to the late George Cordova. She and George were the loving parents of a daughter they named, Gladys Louise Cordova. Florence was always willing to help others. She even drove seniors and children back and forth to their destinations on her bus. Florence favorite song was, un dia a la vez (Las Tiares Del Norte) on the wings of a snow-white dove. Mrs. Cordova assisted in the rearing of some nieces, and nephews. She often gave her last to someone she felt needed it more than she did. Florence remained close to Eva, Kitty and Tony these friends made it a point to stay in close contact. Florence's faith never faded, and she was faithful to God until her death. Florence’s will be deeply missed, and her memory will be forever cherished.
