Gloria Hernandez was born in Derby, Colorado on October 18, 1946, the third child of 6 children. Gloria married Dulces on November 18, 1972. She gave birth to 4 children and loved each one. She worked for and retired from Denver Health in October, 2001. She accepted Jesus as her savior in the 70’s. From then on, she lived for the Lord, ministering in love to her family and the souls God called her to reach out to. Over the years, she served God in various roles in ministry, including women’s auxiliary, treasurer, counselor and confidant. She and Dulces were the assistant pastor team of the Arvada Apostolic Church until 1997. She served in God’s kingdom in many ways for the rest of her days. She enjoyed spending time with her siblings, cooking and baking, gardening, the theater, tea parties, crochet, interior design, studying the bible, going shopping, investing in her relationships with friends, children, sisters and grandchildren, and praying and talking about God.
Gloria is preceded in death by her husband, Dulces Nombres Hernandez, father and mother Rosendo and Anna Herrera, brothers Del and Ernest Herrera, sisters Rose Ann and Eleanor Jane Herrera, and son Richard Hernandez.

Her sister Grace Sanchez, her children Angela Vargas (Mark), Gina Barraza, Anthony Hernandez (Josie), Genoveva Grado, and Martha Grado Ramirez (Aaron)

Many cousins, nieces and nephews
And many members of her spiritual family that she prayed for, counseled and loved.
