Alice Jeanette Matus, age 91, of Arvada, Colorado passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2018. Alice was born January 18, 1927. Alice is preceded in death by; her beloved husband, W.P. (Bill) Matus; grandson, Sean Nunemaker; daughter, Judy Haling; and son-in-law Bill Haling. Alice is survived by her loving children: Cathy Nunemaker, Barb (Al “Coach”) Villani, Steve (Vickie) Matus, and Dave (Stacey) Matus; grandchildren: Eric (Christine) Nunemaker, Shad Nunemaker, Tony Villani, Kirk Nunemaker, Dominic Villani, Kelly Walker, Santana Richards, Tyler Matus, Jake King, and Jason King; and great-grandchildren: Arianna Nunemaker, Oliver Nunemaker, Alison Nunemaker, Evelyn Nunemaker, Emily Nunemaker, Alex Walker, Brayden Richards, Jaxson Richards, Austin King, Tierani Diamanti, and Jessie King.
A visitation for Alice will be held Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 4:00 PM with Rosary to start at 6:00 PM at Olinger Highland Mortuary, 10201 Grant Street in Thornton, Colorado. A Mass of Christian burial will occur Thursday, May 31, 2018 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Spirit of Christ Catholic Church, 7400 West 80th Avenue, Arvada, Colorado 80003. Following the Mass, will be a committal service at 12:00 PM, located at Olinger Highland Cemetery, 10201 Grant Street in Thornton, Colorado.
