It is with deep sorrow that the family of Angie Gurule announces her passing on August 3, 2025, at the age of 92. Angie was born on August 28, 1932, in Conejos, Colorado. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished her family.
Angie is survived by her children, Jo Ann Woods and Richard Maes (Lisa); her grandchildren, Jennifer Picchione (Dan), Sara Self (Dylan), Amy Maes (Josh Bonds), and Jillian Patterson; and her great-grandchildren, Alyssa Maes, Gage Maes, Riley Self, Gianna Self, and Elizabeth Self.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Gurule, and her sons, Thomas Maes and Robert Maes.
A memorial service for Angie will be held Tuesday, September 2, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Parish, 11385 Grant Dr, Northglenn, CO 80233. A committal service will occur Tuesday, September 2, 2025 from 2:30 PM to 2:50 PM at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 4400 W Kenyon Ave, Denver, CO 80236.
