Antonio (Tony) Abuan Rimorin passed away at the age of 77 in Thornton, CO on July 6, 2021. Born on April 20, 1944 in Bauang, La Union, Philippines, he was the 4th child of Javier Rimorin and Josefa Rimorin.
From a very early age, Tony was a hard worker who took on the responsibility of looking after his younger siblings Nela, Aida, Melba and Hector. In his teens, he relocated to Baguio City, Philippines where he would meet his wife, Clarita (Lita) Santos. The two became engaged in 1969, shortly before Tony left to pursue his dream of creating a better life for himself and his family in the United States. He returned briefly to the Philippines in 1970, when he and Lita were married on October 31st. They would eventually spend over 50 years together.
Tony and Lita began their married life in York, NE where they welcomed their son Alex in 1977 and their daughter Leilani in 1983. They relocated to Denver, CO in 1986. It was there where Tony worked the job that he would be the most proud of at Continental Airlines. After retirement in 2006, he spent his time doing the things he loved most: looking after his grandkids, cooking food for his family, watching basketball games and enjoying ice cold beers. He was never one to measure his successes through work or spend time on many hobbies. His biggest source of pride and accomplishment was seeing his children and his grandchildren happy.
Tony was preceded in death by his father Javier Rimorin, his mother Josefa Rimorin, his brother Teddy Rimorin, his father in-law Juan Santos, his mother-in-law Josefa Santos and his brother-in-law Eduardo Santos.
Tony is survived by his wife Lita Rimorin, his son Alex Rimorin, his daughter Leilani (Rimorin) Greaves, his son-in-law Fred Greaves, his granddaughter Allie Rimorin, his grandson Miles Greaves, his siblings Rochelle St. John, Martin Rimorin, Nela Chang, Aida Nigel, Melba Casteneda and Hector Rimorin, along with their spouses, children and grandchildren.
