Arlene Mae Biglen
January 20, 1941 – July 17, 2021
Arlene Mae(England) Biglen passed peacefully July 17th 2021 surrounded by her husband, son, and daughter in her home of Federal Heights Colorado. She was born to Mr. and Mrs. H.A. England in Nantahala North Carolina on January 20, 1941 as a small child the family moved to Providence Kentucky where she grew up and attended school. She met and married the love of her life Owen “Rocky” Biglen on October 2, 1958 to this union there were four children born. She was an awesome cook, she could make a gourmet meal out of flour and water. She loved to surprise her family with new and exciting dishes and desserts. Arlene started piano lessons at the age of three and was a very talented musician sharing her love of music with her children. She was also an excellent seamstress and sewed clothes for her family and friends. She made barbie clothes, doll clothes, and many Halloween costumes. She also love to crochet, make paper dolls, garden, and can food. She loved to camp and fish because it meant spending time with her family.
Arlene is survived by her husband of 62 years Owen (Rocky) Biglen her children Anthony (Tony) Biglen [Robin], Michael(Mike) Biglen [Donna], Marcella (Marcie) Harkness, Andrea (Andi) Biglen. 19 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Her brother James England of Paducah Ky, numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins. Along with her precious cats, Kee Cat and Minerva. Arlene is proceed by her parents, brother Thomas sister Judy, her beloved son Mark, and son-in-law Wayne.
A Memorial service for Arlene will be held Thursday, July 29, 2021 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Olinger Highland Mortuary & Cemetery, 10201 Grant St, Thornton, CO 80229.
