Arthur “Archie” Alan Johnson passed away on October 25, 2026, at the age of 85. He was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and cherished great-grandfather whose life was defined by his love for his family, his generous heart, and his unforgettable sense of humor.
Arthur was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Rose Mary and Bert Martin Johnson; his loving wife, Kathleen Marie Johnson; and his son, William Alan Johnson. Though they are no longer with us, their memories and the love they shared will forever remain a part of his story.
He leaves behind his brother, Daniel Johnson, and sister-in-law, Diane Johnson; his niece, Natalie, and nephew, Daniel; his daughter-in-law, Melissa Romero; his daughter, Vickie Harrold; his grandchildren, Chavella Johnson, William Johnson, Carrissa Johnson, Shayla Covington, Zack Misso and Richelle Romero; and many beloved great-grandchildren who will carry his memory forward.
Arthur was a true family man. He loved his family deeply, and if there was ever anything he could do to help, he was there without hesitation. He was the kind of person you always wanted in your corner. He would stand by you, have your back through anything, and still be the first to tell you just how dumb the decision you made was. His honesty, loyalty, and unconditional love were some of the many things that made him so special.
A man of many talents, Arthur was incredibly smart and could build a house from nothing. There was very little he couldn’t figure out or accomplish when he put his mind to it. He enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortuneand seemed to know every answer before anyone else had a chance to guess. He also loved watching westerns and was always quick to share a joke, bringing laughter and smiles to those around him.
Arthur had a way of making people feel loved, supported, and protected. His wisdom, humor, and willingness to lend a helping hand made him someone his family could always count on. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, resilience, kindness, and love that will live on through the generations.
Though our hearts are heavy with his passing, we find comfort in the countless memories, lessons, laughter, and love he gave us. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
Rest peacefully, Grandpa Archie. Thank you for always being in our corner. Your love and legacy will live on in all of us.
