Arthur Roland Thompson, age 82, of Northglenn, Colorado passed away on Thursday December 20, 2018. Arthur was born May 4, 1936 in Ft. Lupton, Colorado to George and Mildred Thompson. Mr. Thompson served in the United States Navy. He married Anne Marlowe on Feb 10, 1961. He was the Assistant Fire Chief for West Metro Fire Department until his retirement in 1988. He enjoyed bowling, going to Black Hawk to gamble(slots), and playing guitar.
He is survived by is children, Debbie O'Toole, Brent Thompson and Boyd Thompson, grandchildren, Brenden O'Toole, Stacy Thompson, Collin O'Toole, Kyler Gardner, Halley White, Erin Pedraza, Hannah Thompson, Tanner Thompson, Shea O'Toole, Traci Thompson, Megan O'Toole, Alex Hancock, Ashley McDiffitt, Roger McDiffitt, preceded in death by three brothers, Ray Thompson, Jim Thompson and Jack Thompson, one sister Margie Thompson.
A visitation for Arthur will be held Thursday, December 27, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Olinger Highland Mortuary, 10201 Grant Street, Thornton, Colorado 80229.
A graveside service will occur Friday, December 28, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Hillside Cemetery, 13750 Weld County Road 12, Ft. Lupton, Colorado 80621.
A celebration of life will occur Friday, December 28, 2018 at 1:30 PM at Olinger Highland Mortuary Chapel, 10201 Grant St, Thornton, Colorado 80229.
