He enlisted in the United States Army in 1963, age 18 (His brother Fred, and his father John Inmon were also in the army)
He served honorably mostly in Europe during the Vietnam war.
He was very close to his family.
Just a note: His sister (Cherry Marchant) is the last remaining sibling of ten in total.
Of the ten only 4 lived to adulthood (Dianne, Fred, Cherry, Bert).
Bert was the baby of the siblings.
Parents are Clara and John Inmon (both deceased). John Inmon adopted the 4 children when they were young. John and Clara are both in Fort Logan as well.
Married Donna Sayre (deceased 2002) in Dec 1971. Donna and Bert had the same birthday, August 15.
Internment for both is August 16, but the service is for Bert. Donna had a service in 2002.

Survived by his sister Cherry Marchant (John), his son Kevin Inmon (Cindy), several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Bert loved to fish, ride his motorcycle, watch football and bowl. He bowled his entire life until just a few years before he passed away. Bert bowled 7 perfect 300 games, and was involved with many leagues, and teams. He even made his own bowling balls.
He faithfully watched the Broncos anytime they were on TV. He would even record football, just so he could always watch it.
When his wife Donna passed he sat her urn on the TV between two bowling pins until he passed away in 2020.
