Betty Sylvia Bounds, 97, of Thornton, Colorado, passed on April 30, 2026. Betty was born in April 26, 1929, in Worcester, England to Harold and Edith Goodwin-Jones. Betty worked at Kays and Company of Worcester, then in the accounting department of several hospitals and businesses. Betty was an avid traveler and a 40-year member of the Sweet Adelines. Betty was preceded in death by her parents and all five of her siblings (Bill, John, Eric, Doris and Joyce). Betty is survived by husband Peter, daughter Marilyn (Joel), son Stephen (Julie) and one grandson.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Olinger Highland Mortuary & Cemetery, 10201 Grant St, Thornton, CO 80229, US, on May 15, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
