Betty was born January 16th, 1950, in Julesburg, Colorado to Ferman and Annie Elizondo. She graduated from Adams City High School in 1968, where she also met her high school sweetheart, Ron Carlson. They married on February 14, 1970, and resided in Commerce City, Colorado.
Family was very important to Betty. She made sure there were traditions kept every year and celebrated all life changing events with family. She was the glue that held everyone together. No matter what was going on, she greeted all family and close friends, with open arms and a plate of food.
Betty had a strong work ethic and enjoyed being a hair stylist for over 40 years. Her clients considered her a good friend. Besides spending quality time with family and close friends, Betty enjoyed going camping, painting, watching videos of Bob Ross, creating crafts, and admiring her two favorite things, butterflies and birds. She was very caring and loving to friends and family. She will be greatly missed by all.
