We were Betty's neighbors when I was growing up. Boy she deserves an award for patience. Seemed she was always doing something nice for our family. And I know she helped my Mother and Sister keep an eye on us. Her and Paul are the neighbors you dreamed you'd have these days. I have so many fond memories of her. 
And I truly am serious, my siblings and I had to have drove her crazy sometimes, but I never remember ever seeing her in any mood but loving and understanding! We're better for having known her and her family. 
So sorry for everyone's loss.

Joni, what a beautiful collection of photos, loved seeing them.  Thinking of you and wishing I could be there in person on Tuesday.  I have many fond memories of your mother, and they do not all involve her wonderful cooking--I remember that she was very particular about the mashed potatoes--they had to be "riced" first, or something like that.

Betty was such a special person.  I have many fond memories of her and I am truly going to miss her.  Love and prayers, Ardie
