

Blynda was born to Blynn Stewart and Myrl Foster Stewart on August 24,1946 in San Antonio, Texas. She was proud of her Texas heritage her entire life. In 1960 when Blynda was 13, she and her family moved to Denver. She attended Lakewood High school and graduated in 1964.
The summer of 1964, she started her professional journey as a switchboard operator at Mountain Bell in downtown Denver, subsequently advancing into yellow page publishing roles with US West, US Direct, and Dex Media. In 1999 Blynda retired after 35 years of dedicated service. During her retirement she loved spending countless hours with her grandchildren and volunteering at the Denver Zoo.
April 1965 she was invited to a party with a friend where she dared her friend that she could get the friend's boyfriend to kiss her, in November 1965 Blynda married Mike - (the friend's boyfriend). Blynda always loved adventure, she was a “Powder Puff” stock car driver at the old Lakeside Racetrack, where she won rookie of the year. Growing up her dad taught her how to shoot. She was quite the shot, usually getting a deer every hunting season. She loved camping, riding dirtbikes, snowmobiles and going 4-wheeling. She also enjoyed ceramics, quilting, riding horses and sewing.
She was preceded in death by her cherished grandparents, parents and her many dogs. Blynda is survived by her husband Mike, daughter Tia (Jari), grandchildren, Kaleb (Rae), Madison, Marina, and Alexzander, and her sisters Deborah (Bob) and Vicki
(Scott), along with nieces and nephews, and countless numbers of loving friends. She was loved by all who knew her, she never knew a stranger, she would talk to anyone, anywhere, anytime, about anything! She will be missed.
A memorial service will be held at Olinger Highland Mortuary & Cemetery, located at 10201 Grant St, Thornton, CO 80229, United States. The service is scheduled for November 14, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
