

Brian Joseph Cirbo, Jr. (BJ), 38, of Thornton, Colorado died unexpectedly on April 15, 2025, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. His stepdaughter, Brooklyn Lopeman passed later from the injuries she sustained. Their loss was completely unexpected, and the families are shocked and deeply saddened.
Brian was born on June 13,1986, to Leah Chea and Brian Cirbo, Sr. in Thornton, Colorado and lived most of his life in Arvada, Colorado, later moving to Thornton, Colorado. Brian attended Arvada West High School and attended Western Colorado University.
Brian began his career in sheet metal at Precision Metal Manufacturing, LLC in Northglenn, Colorado. He was promoted to Production Manager and currently worked at RK Mechanical in Thornton Colorado. Brian was a retired fireman and EMT. He had a passion for helping others.
Brian was a loving father to his daughter and stepchildren. Brian’s family and friends will miss him more than words can say.
Brian “Rooster” was an active member of the Punishers Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club. The members of this club are public servants including law enforcement officers and firemen who share a passion for riding Harley Davidson motorcycles and helping others.
Brian had a passion for helping others. He was an intricate part of the Ally Remembered Foundation, spearheading Action Packs containing immediately needed supplies for survivors of domestic violence. He loved his family, the outdoors, camping, fishing, hunting and volunteering throughout the community.
Brian was predeceased by his grandfathers Alfred Cirbo and Leo Chea and his uncle Leon Chea.
Brian is survived by his spouse Devin Lopeman: daughter, Aria and stepchildren Christian and Shiloh; parents Leah Chea and Brian Cirbo, Sr. (Elayne Cirbo); grandmothers Lynda Chea and Evelyn Cirbo; stepsister Melissa Brown. He also leaves behind aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
The Celebration of Life service to honor the lives of Brian Cirbo, Jr. and Brooklyn Lopeman will be held on May 9, 2025, at 10:00 at Landing Place Church, 11555 Chambers Road, Commerce City, Colorado.
The family will receive friends at Prost Brewing Company, 351 104th Avenue, Northglenn, Colorado immediately following the services.
