

Carla attended and graduated from Fort Collins High School, in Fort Collins Colorado and attended 2 years of college at Colorado State University where she was a member of Gama Pi Beta, and a member of the theater group.Carla worked many years in the security and title business. The last 15 years of her work life was for the State of Colorado Insurance regulatory agency as an insurance regulator.
Carla was an active member of the Presbyterian Church of Broomfield for 37 years, as a member of the choir for 37 years, the leader of the prayer chain and a Deacon.
Carla and Carl were members of the Guns and Garters Square Dance club for 20 years
Carla spent her life living in Fort Collins and Thornton, Colorado
Carla loved square dancing, gardening especially raising roses, taking long walks. She loved her dogs Chipper and Charlie and traveling around the United States and the world with her husband Carl.
Carla was a devout Christian and never hesitated to help the church with anything needed. She was a loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother and she and Carl never hesitated to help the family when they could. Carla loved everyone, especially children. She always tried to find the good in people
She is survived by her Husband Carl Helms, Son Mike McNally and Wife Penny, 10 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren, Brother John Drage and many, many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Predeceased by Daughter Barbara Wojahn and Brother David and wife Nancy Drage
Funeral services to be held June 26th at 11:00 am at the Presbyterian Church of Broomfield 350 main street Broomfield, CO. Burial on July 5th 1:30 pm at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 4400 W Kenyon Ave Denver, Co.Funeral Arrangements are being handled by Olinger Highland Mortuary & Cemetery 10201 Grant Street Thornton, CO.
