Died November 2, 2021 at the age of 84. She was born in Illinois on December 2,1936 to Royal and Avis Bartlett. She moved to Colorado as a teenager and later attended the University of Colorado. She met her husband Jon “Jeb” Edwin Benner there and married him on August 27. 1960. They had a son Jon Edwin Benner Jr. who married Leslie Garrod and had a daughter Samantha. They also had a daughter Leslie Ann Benner who married James Patrick Wilson and had 2 sons Ryan Keith Wilson and Travis Aaron Wilson who is married to Maddison “Abi” Abigail Wilson.
Carol spent her life with Jeb traveling the country and the world. They did this with family and friends. They made friends all over the place. They were active and several different social groups. She was part of the Zeta Sorority for over 60 years. She was a member of the Northglenn United Methodist Church.
There will be a Celebration of Life on December 4, 2021 at 1:00pm at Northglenn United Methodist Church - 1605 W. 106th Ave., Northglenn, Co 80234.
