Carol Anne Stampfl-Law

Carol was preceded in death by her parents Richard Peters and Vonnie Peters, and her beloved husband, Rick Law.

She is survived by her sons Jacob Briggs (Colette Briggs), Joshua Briggs (Shana Briggs), and Nicholas Briggs. Six grandchildren, Caleb, Jade-Lynn, Jillian, Carter, Myla and Jace. One great grandchild, Nova Lynn. Also, her brother Rick Peters (Bev Peters), sister Sharron Limmer (Carl Limmer) along with numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Born on August 28,1960, in Denver, Colorado, Carol was a long-time resident of Colorado, where she built a life filled with warmth, laughter, and community. In the final chapter of her life, she made her home in Laramie, Wyoming—a place that held her heart until the very end. Carol spent the majority of her career as a hair stylist, where her talent and outgoing personality touched the lives of countless clients who quickly became lifelong friends. Later in her career, she brought her dynamic energy and work ethic to CarQuest as a Sales Representative.

An avid lover of the great outdoors, Carol treasured time spent in nature and cherished every moment with her family and friends, especially her beloved boyfriend, Bart. Carol truly never met a stranger, she was refreshingly authentic, wonderfully unique, and had a rare gift for striking up a conversation with anyone. She made it her personal mission to ensure that everyone she encountered felt welcomed, valued, and treated like family. Her quick wit, bright laughter, and fierce love for her sons and their families defined everything she did.

Visitation will be held at Olinger Highland Mortuary & Cemetery, 10201 Grant St, Thornton, CO 80229, US, on August 20, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, and again on August 21, 2026, from 9:30 am to 10:00 am.

A Funeral Service will be held at Olinger Highland Mortuary & Cemetery, 10201 Grant St, Thornton, CO 80229, US, on August 21, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
