

She was involved in many different organizations and accomplished so much during her life. She went to Westminster High School. She was in all girls drum core. She was in Daughters of the American Revolution. She got her G.E.D. along with her sister, Ruth in 1972 at El Paso Community College in Colorado Springs. They had a lot of fun. She was co-author for "KIP Quotes." She was an ambassador for the North Metro Chamber of Commerce, she was on the board for Suncor Energy & Stout Street Rehabilitation. She donated her time for car shows with the Rotary Club in Commerce City. She donated her time for golf tournaments, open houses, ribbon cuttings and grand openings for several years with the chamber. She loved doing ride-a-longs with the Adam's County Sheriff's Department every chance she got. She wore multiple hats in life and in her careers. Including being a wonderful mother and foster parent. Everyone, including her clients, loved her! -Breckenridge, Keystone, A Basin, Cruise America, Adams School District, Elite Auto Glass, etc...
Carol as her friends and family called her was born and raised in Colorado although I believe her heart was really in Texas where she always wished she'd be able to move back one of these days. -She is survived by her sister, Ruth. Nephews Brad and Steven, niece Melissa, great-nephew Adrien, great-nephew Logan and great-niece Morgan. Her adopted daughter Laura. Grandson/adopted son Christopher. Granddaughter Jennefer, great-granddaughter Adelyne and great-grandson Khaiden. -She is preceded in death by her adopted son Robert "Bobby" Burke, her dad Clarence, her brother Bill Johnson, her mom Evelyn and her brother-in-law Rich.
