

Christain Henry Seegmiller was born on March 17, 1938 in Denver Colorado to Christian Albert and Marie Catherine Seegmiller (Theisen). Chris grew up with his four siblings in Denver, Colorado. He graduated from the Abbey School in Canyon City, Colorado. It was in high school that he met the love of his life and future wife of 59 years Kathy Miller. They were married on September 27, 1958. They moved to Northglenn where Chris was active in the community and church. He helped establish the first ambulance service in the area, which is still in place today. He was also on the building committee for the family’s church Immaculate Heart of Mary, where his company built the pews and fixtures. Chris was a charter member of the Elks and the Ranch Country club serving on their board for many years. He was Chairman of the board of Carpenters millwright Union 55 for 30+ years. Chris coached and financially supported youth soccer.
Chris worked in the family business, when he was 21 his father passed away and he took over the responsibilities of both the business and support of his mother and younger siblings. Chris brought his brother Bob into the business and together they grew Modern Fixture into a well-respected Cabinet and Millwright company that his sons run to this day.
While Chris ran the business Kathy raised their five children. Chris enjoyed his family time, going camping in their converted school bus, spending time in the mountains fishing and hunting. He enjoyed the mountains so much he purchased a cabin in the Roosevelt National Forest to ensure future generations this same opportunity. He loved and cared deeply for his wife and children, relishing their accomplishments, and celebrating the birth of every grandchild and great grandchild.
Chris developed a love for golfing and was a natural, winning many tournaments and making not one but two holes in one, this was something that he was proud of. In his retirement he purchased a winter home in Arizona becoming snowbirds and continuing to pursue his love of golf.
Chris had many friends that he enjoyed spending time on and off the course with. Many of these friendships spanned decades, he cherished and held his friends close to his heart.
Chris’s last days were spent surrounded by his loving family, Chris left this world in peace joining his father in Heaven on November 10, 2017.
Chris is survived by his wife Kathy; his five children: Chris (Kathy); Jennifer (Nolan); Patricia (Matthew); Mitchell (Patricia); Joseph (Christie); Grandchildren: Jeremy; Mariah; Lara, David, Jessie, Danielle, Elizabeth; Josh; Matthew; Cassandra; Stacilyn; Kaylin; Breauna; Andrew; Denee; Jamie. Great grandchildren; Eliah, Trey; Jaxon; Shyanna; Adain; Lucas; Aidalei; Naomi; Cassandra; Chevy, Rayceden; Liam; Lincoln; Penelope; Nikola.
