

Cindy Ann Hardin, age 70, passed away peacefully at 3:14 a.m. on November 5, 2025, surrounded by her loving family in Commerce City, Colorado. A resident of the Solista Retirement Community in Longmont, Colorado, Cindy’s life was marked by compassion, creativity, and unwavering devotion to those she loved.
Born Cindy Ann Jordan in Corona, Riverside, California, she was the cherished daughter of Richard Jordan and Wanda Chantry, and beloved sister to Suzan Bolingbroke, Perry Jordan, and Tammy Robinson. Cindy pursued higher education at McCook Community College in Nebraska where she cultivated her talents and passions.
A gifted flutist, Cindy performed with community bands and accompanied soloists and choirs, sharing her love of music with those around her. Her eloquence and confidence also shone through in public speaking, where she earned recognition in numerous competitions.
Cindy found joy in sewing, crocheting, and spending quality time with family and friends. Her warmth extended to animals as well—she and her husband Troy lovingly fostered pets through the Humane Society and doted on their own companions: Sox, Emme, and Sarge. Cindy’s professional journey included serving as a firearms instructor in Arizona, a role that reflected her strength and independence.
She married Robert Dixon in 1977, and together they raised five children while living in Pennsylvania and Utah. After their divorce in 1998, Cindy found love again with Troy Hardin, whom she married on November 20, 2011. Their life together took them across the country, from Arizona to Alabama and finally to Colorado.
Cindy is survived by her devoted children: Crystal, with her husband Jeremy and their son; Autumn, with her husband Alfred; Joshua, with his wife Tiffany and their four children; and Robert, with his wife Kelsey and their three children.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Troy, her daughter Melody, and her grandson Joshua Jr.
Cindy’s legacy lives on in the hearts of those she touched with her kindness, resilience, and vibrant spirit. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
