Colton Riley Loveridge

September 14, 2001 – August 19, 2026
Obituary of Colton Riley Loveridge
IN THE CARE OF

Olinger Funeral, Cremation & Cemetery - Highland

Our beloved Colton Riley Loveridge passed away on August 19, 2026.

Colton was born in Louisville, Colorado, on September 14, 2001, but grew up in Frederick, Colorado. He graduated from Ferguson High School in 2020. He worked in landscaping and was a heavy equipment operator.

Colton enjoyed working on cars, especially his beloved Mustang, which he called his “baby.” He loved his dogs and got to experience being the proud papa of nine puppies when his dog gave birth. He loved music, especially rap, and even recorded several songs as a teenager. He was also able to perform on stage a few times.

Colton was a great cook, and his green chili was “the bomb.” He loved the excitement of setting off fireworks and the peace and solitude of the Colorado mountains. He loved sunsets and looking at the stars.

Colton had a gift for helping others through their pain. Loyalty was especially important to him—so much so that he had the word “loyalty” tattooed on his arm. He had a very soft spot for his family, a side of him that not many people got to see.

Colton was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Charlotte Welton, and Peter Loveridge.

He leaves behind his mother and stepfather, Kara and Dan Sissom; his father, Lee Loveridge; his sister, Rory Elliott; his grandmother, Ann Loveridge; his step-grandmother, Angie Pflipsen; and many extended family members and friends who loved him dearly.

A celebration of Colton’s life will be arranged soon, with details to be shared once finalized.

“If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever.”
