Crystal Lynne Beckel

Crystal Lynne Beckel (nee Paluh), 66, of Henderson CO, passed away on January 21, 2023. Born on Aug 13, 1956 in Denver CO, to the late Lawrence Paluh and late Barbara Reif (nee Walters). She will always be remembered as a devoted mother, caring aunt, and a great friend to all that knew and loved her. Crystal worked at Children's Hospital Colorado for 33 years. She began as a respiratory therapist followed by working in the sleep lab. She was a lifelong artist. Most recently she enjoyed plein air painting, botanical art, and nature sketching. Crystal loved camping in her teardrop trailer with her dogs, traveling, hiking and bird watching. She volunteered countless hours observing and documenting bald eagle nests for the Bird Conservancy of the Rockies. Crystal is survived by her daughter Laura Beckel of Eastlake CO, brothers Zach and wife Mayumi Paluh of Bellingham WA, Jake and wife Erika Paluh of Silverthorne CO and her loved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister Cheryl Lower. Crystal was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. A celebration of life will be held later this spring.
