Still remember this wonderful night cousin. 

Danny Heredia was one of the first people in college who made me feel like I belonged at a university. Not because he tried to tell me how smart I was or that it was within my reach or anything. He made me feel like I was a person who might actually be fun to be around. I always felt out of place before him. We sat next to each other in Spanish 101 class, and he was always clowning me in a super friendly fun way. We  ate way too many chicken wings in his spot while studying for exams, and the summer after sophomore year we worked on a pool tear-out together. Through all those times, Danny could always make me laugh. He’d make me laugh at myself, at him, at others, whatever. He could make anyone in a room bust up. He was the ultimate networker. A lot of my friendships in college were because of him. I'll miss him.

Danny was an amazing friend. We talked about life, our dreams and goals, sang together, laughed a lot, and encouraged each other to be and do better in life. Danny was such a major influence in my life when I was young, and I truly am thankful that he was part of my life. Anita, you and the kids helped Danny find purpose, and I am so happy for that. My heart goes out to you and his beautiful babies, and to his family. I hope you all find peace in knowing that Danny was so loved by so many people.
