David SaBell

David SaBell, 59, of Westminster, CO. Died quietly at home with his loved ones at his side, on Tuesday, October 16, 2012, in Westminster, CO. Born David Lawerence SaBell, on August 31, 1953 in Denver, CO. Dave died after a 6-year battle with ALS; the fatal illness contracted after he was injured. His courage and strength was an inspiration to all that knew and loved him.

Before his illness left him incapacitated, Dave was a professional over-the-road truck driver, whose greatest joy was helping people succeed; whether training them, guiding them or directing them, Dave was the one they always turned to. “Super Dave” will be missed by all of his fellow truck drivers - those that loved him so much. Love and Devotion: As a loving, devoted wife, Dave's wife Debbie made sure that all of Dave's 'bucket-list' wishes were fulfilled before he died. They traveled extensively all over the country, almost to the end, to places that Dave always wanted to visit. Dave's 'ultimate' trips were going to see the Atlanta Braves play, sitting in Ted Turner seats and having Chipper Jones throw him the ball! – and – going to the San Francisco 49's game last year (his beloved football team), to watch them beat the Raiders! The 49's gifted them incredible seats, and Dave was in his glory! His dreams had come true!

Dave SaBell was a very devoted husband, father and grandfather; his family was his pride and joy. His happiest times were when they all spent family time together. His heart was sure to have been peaceful as he was surrounded by the love of everyone closest to him as he passed.

Dave is survived by his beloved wife, Debbie SaBell, his loving children Jeff (Amanda) SaBell and Nicole SaBell. Proud grandfather of Giada SaBell and Pilar Durazo. David is also survived by his step-sons, Jason (Brianna) Carter and Adam Businger, also son-in-law, Jorge Durazo (late wife Jennifer).

There will be a memorial church service, Friday, October 19, 2012, 11 a.m., Immaculate Heart of Mary, 11385 Grant Dr., Northglenn, CO. Luncheon immediately following.
