Delbert Pakiser, a longtime resident of Thornton, passed away peacefully at his home on April 23, 2025, at the age of 86. His loving family was by his side. Born in Denver in 1939, Delbert lived a life rich in service and music.
Delbert dedicated himself to shaping young minds as an elementary school teacher. Later in his career, he thoughtfully guided individuals and families in their financial planning. Beyond his professional life, Delbert shared his passion for music as a talented bass trombonist in several community concert bands and ensembles over the years, bringing joy to countless listeners.
He was a devoted husband to Paula, his beloved wife. His legacy also lives on through his children, Paige, Mark, Scott, and Denise, his eight cherished grandchildren, Naoki, Manabu, Emily, Kenji, Andrew, Sam, Lea, and Augustine and his 4 precious great grandchildren.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Delbert's life on Wednesday, June 18, at 11:00 am at Crossroads Church.
