Dezirae Monique Zanatello

Dezirae Zanatello, 28, of Thornton, Colorado passed away on April 7, 2025 at home peacefully. She was born on January 6, 1997, in Idaho to her mother, Veronica Zanatello. In 1998, Dezirae and her mother moved to Colorado, where she would grow up surrounded by the love of family and friends.

From a young age, Dezirae had a gentle spirit and a deep appreciation for the beauty in life. She found joy in expressing herself through music, particularly R&B and slow jams, which brought her comfort. She also loved drawing, painting, and reading poetry, which allowed her to share her soul with the world in a meaningful way.

Dezirae was a loving, kind, and vibrant woman whose presence lit up every room she entered. Her laugh was contagious, her smile unforgettable, and her heart always open. She had a special gift for lifting others up—always ready to lend a hand, a listening ear, or a shoulder to lean on. She was a fierce supporter of her loved ones, and her loyalty and warmth left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

She was deeply devoted to her family and friends and cherished the time spent making memories, sharing meals, dancing to her favorite songs, and simply being together. Her compassion knew no bounds, and her ability to make others feel seen and cared for was one of her most beautiful qualities.

Dezirae is survived by her beloved mother, Veronica Zanatello, her brother, Daniel Zanatello, her father, Kenneth Jenkins, her nana and grandfather, Martha and Ron Corvinus, her grandpa, Ernesto Zanatello and her grandma, Cheryl Hurtado.

To honor Dezirae’s life, we kindly ask for the family's privacy during this incredibly difficult time. Rather than focusing on the circumstances of her passing, we ask that you simply be present and supportive of the family and close friends as they navigate their grief.
